Florida Gulf Coast University Innovation Hub (the park) is located on 241 acres adjacent to and on the south side of the Southwest Florida International Airport. The park is also within a mile of Florida Gulf Coast University’s main campus. The 241 acre park is located within 2 miles of 730 brand new hotel rooms and the 2,000,000 sq. ft., 205 acre Gulf Coast Town Shopping Center including some of the areas best restaurants, fine dining and shops. Florida Gulf Coast University has joined us as a public private partnership to develop 1.2 million square feet of state-of-the-art research and development area. FGCU is one of the 11 Universities within the state of Florida. FGCU was founded in 1991 has been in operation since 1997.

Civil Engineering: All civil engineering per the site plan has been approved by Lee County.
Development Order: Approved September 27, 2007 for 1,200,000 Square feet of mixed industrial/commercial and retail.
Biological Opinion: The Biological Opinion has been reviewed and approved by the United States Department of the Interior March 26, 2007.
Mitigation: All selected mitigation property for the Florida Panther, endangered species and wetland impact per the Army Corps of Engineers have been approved. Mitigation parcels have been paid for and closed upon by seller.
Army Corps Permit: Approved December 18th, 2007
Utilities: Water available to site; Park currently planned for sewer tie in, septic is permitted.
